Starting Feb 25th at the Quirinal Stables

The Scuola Grande di San Rocco of Venice will contribute to the "Tintoretto" exhibition with two important works by the Venetian master: "St. Mary of Egypt" and "St. Mary Magdalene."  This is the first time that these two canvases have left the premises of the Scuola.  In honor of the occasion, the two works have been given a thorough cleaning to restore their color and depth perspective.

In addition, the Scuola Grande di San Rocco, with the support of the Regione del Veneto, has created a documentary, produced by Gigi Baro, Stefano Balbo and Cristina Marchesi, which will be projected continuously throughout the exhibition.

To mark this prestigious collaboration, the Scuderie del Quirinale (Quirinal Stables) offers visitors to the "Tintoretto" exhibition the opportunity to visit the cycle of paintings in the Scuola Grande di San Rocco at a reduced price (simply keep your ticket and present it to the Scuola's ticket office). Similarly, visitors to the Scuola Grande can purchase tickets for the exhibition "Tintoretto" at a reduced price (in this case, simply keep your ticket and present it to the ticket office of the Scuderie del Quirinale). Similar discounts are available to members of the Palazzo delle Espozioni and of the Scuola Grande's Confraternity of Saint Roch.

This promotion is valid throughout the entire year of 2012.
