To take care of the great artistic patrimony belonging to the Scuola is one of our most important statutory duties. The maintenance and restoration of the properties (the Scuola Grande, the Chiesa, the Scoletta, and the houses of the Chaplain and the Sacristan) and of the other artistic works is directed and managed by the Cancelleria, in collaboration with the overseer. A regular inventory is made of all the works: the appropriate historical and photographic documentation is also provided. The transcription of all the data collected is currently being completed.
The inventories are available to all interested scholars.
The Scuola’s photo-gallery comprises of colour photographs, slides, digital images, old photographs in both colour and black and white of all the property of the Scuola. These images can be used by scholars and editors, in accordance with the conditions stipulated case by case by the Secretary.
The internal library is currently under construction. It will collect all work which relates to the Scuola and themes which are in some way connected to the Scuola, such as the life and cult of the Patron Saint etc.
